Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church.  We have been serving Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 60 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Please e-mail us at info@BSAtroop22.com to arrange to visit one of our meetings.  There's always room for one more at Troop 22!

Register by Monday: Joshua Tree Rock Climbing, Dec. 5-7

Posted by qnguyen on Nov 25 2014 - 7:52am

Please register here by Dec. 1st for our Dec. 5-7 Rock Climbing Outing to Joshua Tree National Park.  This is a FUN outing for everyone, with rock climbing, bouldering, and Scouts earning the Climbing Merit Badge

So many Scouts want to go on this trip, we need more adult drivers and an Adult Food Coordinator.  If you have a Scout going, please consider coming to help and spending a lovely weekend with your son. Some of our climbing instructors cannot drive scouts because they need to go extra early Friday to set up the ropes. They are giving up a day of work so Scouts can have a great weekend. Please let us know if you can help.  Trip details...

Tai's Star Project: Homeless Holidays

Posted by qnguyen on Nov 14 2014 - 1:51pm

Hi, this is Tai. For my Star project, I'm collecting toilettries and unwrapped children's gifts for the West Valley Food Pantry Holiday Drive for homeless and needy families. If you don't have time to get the items requested below, money donations are appreciated too so I can get them cheaper online.

If you donate $5, your homeless care package could include: 2 tubes of toothpaste, a toothbrush, a pair of socks, deodorant, and a lotion.

If you donate $10, we could get a MEGA-care package: 10 razors, 2 toothbrushes, 2 tubes of toothpaste, 3 bars of soap, 3 packets of wipes, 6 packs of tissues, 40 bandaids, lotions, and a comb.

Please bring donations to the Troop meeting or contact me at

Postponed until further notice: Hannibal's Eagle Project

Posted by qnguyen on Nov 2 2014 - 2:26pm

Postponed until further notice...

The West Valley Boys & Girls Club called to say the benches we would be painting are not there this weekend, and it might rain.  November 15 is NOT the new date because we need everyone to help with Scouting for Food.  I'll let you know when we have a new date to finish. Thanks!

The project is looking really good.... see pictures below.
