Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church.  We have been serving the Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 50 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Please e-mail us at troop22wh@gmail.com to arrange to visit one of our meetings.  There's always room for one more at Troop 22!

A reminder that the Northern Tier High-Adventure outing is only about 90 days away!. EVERY participant requires a passport to travel. In some cases it can take quite some time to apply for, and receive a passport for a child. Please start the process now. No participant will be able to go to Canada without a valid passport.

Adults - Thinking About New Gear?

Posted by sjsigman on Apr 8 2014 - 3:18pm

In case you haven't been watching your local news stand (do those still exist?) the Gear Head's equivalent of the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalogue just was published in the form of the Backpacker Magazine  - 2014's Best New Gear (April 2014) edition.  The editors test all the new gear and help people with real lives narrow down the choices based on utility, comfort, weight and price.  Their "Gear School" article will help you get boots that fit, not over-pack for the weekend, and make your pack more comfortable, and the 10 essentials article will jog your memory. What I'm coveting this year:
