Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 22!  We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church and have been serving Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for 25 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 75 boys become Eagle Scouts.

Please contact us to arrange to visit one of our meetings. There's always room for one more in Troop 22!

Backpacking Meals

Posted by qnguyen on May 22 2014 - 4:22pm

From Steve Vincent:  Hey Scouts!

Some of you got a taste of the meals the leaders made during the recent Matilija backpacking trip. For dinner we made Bannock Bread and Appalachian Chicken and Rice. (recipes below)  Both were very easy to make, with only a little preparation at home.  I got the recipes from the Boy Scout Backpacking Cookbook (here's a link).   There are a ton of great recipes in there and If any of you want to look through my copy I can bring it to a meeting for you to check it out.

Filter out announcements that don't apply to you

Posted by qnguyen on May 22 2014 - 1:25am

As our troop is very active, many announcements in these eblasts only apply to certain Patrols or groups (e.g. summer campers).  Be sure to streamline your content by checking the "Patrol Filter" boxes in the lower left of the Home Page, then clicking "Filter Content."  You must be logged in to do this.  You will still get info that applies to the whole troop.
