Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church.  We have been serving Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 60 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Please e-mail us at info@BSAtroop22.com to arrange to visit one of our meetings.  There's always room for one more at Troop 22!

Posted by qnguyen on Jul 10 2014 - 9:00pm

Please welcome JR Lal as our new Troop 22 Committee Chair!  He is stepping into the (figuratively) huge shoes of Stacy Alperson, to whom we owe huge thanks.  The Chair works with the Scoutmaster to lead the troop, liaises with the BSA district and POP Church, and organizes the parent volunteer Committee in all administrative and non-outdoor support of the troop.

Congratulations to Ian Goldenberg and Troy Cruz for completing the National Youth Leadership Training!  NYLT is a course that provides youth leaders with a working knowledge of advanced troop leadership skills while living by the Scout Oath and Law in an exciting outdoor environment.  If any scouts are interested in this opportunity, ask Ian and Troy about it.  There's a weeklong training coming up July 28 - August 2.  The requirements for admission to the NYLT include:
