Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church.  We have been serving Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 60 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Please e-mail us at troop22chair@gmail.com to arrange to visit one of our meetings.  There's always room for one more at Troop 22!

CaMpOrEe! April 15-17

Posted by qnguyen on Feb 12 2016 - 12:56am

It’s time to perfect those scouting skills we work on all year long… Camporee is coming up!  It will be at Valley Trails Ranch, same location as last year.  It’s always a great event, with competitions allowing Scout to prove their skills and show off their Scout Spirit. This year, the theme is “The Adventure Continues”. You will want to make sure you use that in your Patrol Flag design.

Register here. Some changes for this year...

Henninger/Mt. Wilson update

Posted by qnguyen on Jan 23 2016 - 9:56am
From Tai Michaels:
Just want to congratulate everyone who hiked to (and survived) Henninger Flats/Mt. Wilson this weekend. We did a great job hiking 2.77mi each way to Henninger, climbing and descending 1325ft. For those who did Mt. Wilson, we hiked 15.17mi, climbing 4438ft. Nice. Howver, even more surprising was that we didn't loose any troop gear and didn't even burn a hole through any of our pots. Oh, and for people training for Philmont: we will find harder hikes to do.  Don't worry.

See below for graphics of trail map and elevation...
