How Advancement Works

A Scout completes requirements listed in his Scout book for the given rank
He gets the requirement signed in his book by the Scoutmaster or an Assistant Scoutmaster
When all requirements for a rank are signed off, he arranges a Scoutmaster Conference by talking with the Scoutmaster at a Troop meeting or giving him a phone call or email
When he completes his Scoutmaster Conference, he arranges for a Board of Review by contacting the Board of Review Coordinator.
When he completes the Board of Review he will be presented his new Badge of Rank at a Court of Honor.
