Troop 22 Annual Swim checkEach year before we head off to camps and High Adventure, the troop reviews all of its Scouts for swimming ability. The leaders need to know, before we get to camp, how well each Scout swims! For Florida Seabase and Northern Tier High Adventures all participants must pass the "Swimmers" swim check, for all other camps we just need to know at which swimming level each Scout is currently. Troop 22 follows the BSA Safe Swim Defense policy for all outings involving swimming. Each Scout and Leader in the troop needs to understand and follow this policy. There are three levels of Scouts: Non-swimmers, beginners and swimmers. Non-swimmers do not have to pass a test at all. The following checks need to be completed to be classified as swimmer or beginner. Swimmers Swim Check
