*     WLACC Calendars distributed

*     Good Turn for America – received chart to log hours

*     Annual Memorial Day Flag placement

*     Valley Scout Shop closed for repairs

*     Mobile Bike shop flyer was in packet!

*     Training dates listing

*     Los Colinas Carnival of Training

*     Woodbadge training

*     Service opportunity through Santa Monica Mountains

*     Panarama Sportsmans Club – outing opportunities

Scoutmaster Report: (Patrick Druez)

*     We got a nice long letter about our help with the US Postal Food Drive.  Finished early this year!  PDF put on website.

*     Barry attended PLC this month

*     During patrol time need to plan next years outings

*     Lightning Bolts are doing skill on Dutch oven assisted by Bill and Paula Shaddick, Yum!

*     Brand new tent purchased is missing parts already!!

*     Jeff K. will play at Flags on Graves

*     Kevin C. done with SM conference and

*     Alan N. very close

*     Jeremy B. is working on Eagle Project at Prince of Peace

*     Outing this weekend – Flag Placement, Piedra Blanca and Three Ts

Finance Subcommittee Report: (Judy Soyster)

*     Judy presented monthly reports

*     Judy finished Scout Accounts excel spreadsheet

*     Garage Sale Fundraiser postponed

*     Former location said “no”

*     Have a potential location for Fathers day

*     Tentative date in July if Fathers day doesn’t work out

*     Joe Perret and Ernest Zimmermann are working on this

*     Barn raiser fundraiser

*     Dinner dance in Malibu at Jerry’s club

*     June Hunter is heading the Food and Beverage committee with 6 volunteers supporting her

*     Vik Singh is heading the Invitation and Attendance sub-committee

*     Food will probably be about $16 for Salmon and Tri-tip, plus equipment for about $20 cost per person

*     Auction is where the money is made

*     Peggy distributed a Planning Guide document for the event

*     Peggy brought drafts of Invitation, “Hold the Date” Flyer

*     Tentative date Sept 18th or Oct 2nd

*     Decorations Subcommittee – Beth and David Downing

*     Can we get past T22 photos enlarged for decorations

*     Need to obtain permit from council

Membership/Communications Subcommittee Report: (Rayna Burgess)

*     Recruiting ongoing

*     Phone tree is filled.  Janna Hazard is the top of the tree and other spots are now filled in.

*     Letter from Prince of Peace for US Postal Service

*     Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat training at Roundtable – bring a towel and popsicle stick (with or without popsicle)

Outdoor/Activities Subcommittee Report: (Jerry Seymour)

*     Permission Slips are not getting turned in early enough

*     We can’t plan for food

*     Court of Honor was great – Thanks to entire CoH Committtee

*     Didn’t have enough punch bowls.  Peggy bought some to donate to PoP.

*     American Red Cross Adult CPR training class offered June 5th, 9:30-12:30 at Burgess Home, $20
