Roundtable Report: (Peggy McGrew)

*     Camporee in Moorpark, Packet handed out

*     Ranger from Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area made a presentation.  Scouts looking for eagle projects can contact him.

*     Judy Toothaker is training chair and will visit units to conduct training

*     Eagle workshops are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at the LDS church on Mulholland Drive and Deseret.

*     OA Elections are coming up

Scoutmaster Report: (Patrick Druez)

Finance Subcommittee Report: (Judy Soyster)

*     We could use more volunteers on the Finance subcommittee (Quickbooks and Excel)

*     Chas has a second project to spend remaining funds related to his Eagle project

*     Judy presented monthly reports and Klondike Derby report and extra statements

*     Scout accounts are being maintained on Excel

Membership/Communications Subcommittee Report: (Rayna Burgess)

*     Recruiting ongoing

*     Website needs updating

Outdoor/Activities Subcommittee Report: (Peggy for Jerry Seymour)

*     Philmont checks made out to WLACC but given to Janice

*     Father Rand approved the installation of a 10 x 10 TuffShed with a loft, we will get the details and give them to Father Rand for final approval.

*     Camp Whitsett – first payment due, we have 35 reservations

*     Looking into bus for transportation to Whitsett, we may share with another unit

*     April we will do Fishbowls to Piedra Blanca

*     This outing will be leave Friday 4:30 pm through Sunday 2:00 pm

 

Advancement Subcommittee Report: (Peggy for Lisa Solomon)

*     We need neckerchiefs.

Troop Advisors (Position Available)

*     We need to fill this position

*     We need to run annual Troop Committee Challenge training within the troop

*     We need to track Youth Protection

Action Steps Review:

*     Rayna to get minutes out this week.

*     General announcement on troubles communication.  Adults need to be respectful to all Scouts. Make a flyer.

*     Pick up after troop outing.  Getting later and later.  We expect pick up within 5 or 10 minutes

*     Promptness to Troop meetings.  Please arrive we start promptly at 7:15pm

*     Uniforming needs improvement.

*     Call Janna re new Scarves.

*     Peggy will draft a letter regarding TuffShed
