Roundtable Report: (Peggy McGrew)

*     Merit Badge Counselor forms now due each year

*     Popcorn is coming up!

*     District looking for more participation from Troop 22 (Cub Day Camp etc.)

*       Subcommittee on Membership – want one representative from each unit

*     Scouts at the Mall Sept 18 – we need to man a table

Scoutmaster Report: (Peggy for Patrick Druez)

*     Will be working on the calendar based on the PLC input during the next week or so

Finance Subcommittee Report: (Judy Soyster)

*     Judy presented monthly statement

*     We currently have enough funds to purchase the TuffShed shell – we should start pricing

*     Troop 22 Garage Sale – Terrific!!

*     Gratuity was given to the church

*     Peggy has 6 foot table – who owns it?

*     Advertise in church bulletin

*     Better ad in Pennysaver “Multi-family” etc.

*     Bigger signs, signs all the way to Ventura Blvd.

*     Next year: Pancake and Garage Sale

*     Popcorn!  Kris Williams will chair again!!  THANK YOU!  We need an understudy.  Currently recruiting for this position

*     Barn raiser fundraiser

*     Basket committee is meeting Monday night at Starbucks if anyone wants to come 7:00 pm. (Theme related baskets for each patrol)

*     Committee approved allocating $100 to Basket committee to spend sprucing up the baskets

*     We need to keep this fundraiser on the front burner

Membership/Communications Subcommittee Report: (Rayna Burgess)

*     Troopmaster Database is back up, website is back up

*     Recruiting – we need new parents to take over positions

*     Attendance in database -  we NEED this information

Outdoor/Activities Subcommittee Report: (Peggy for Jerry Seymour)

*     Summer Camp was terrific!!

*     Troop 474 still has openings for Emerald Bay

*     Summer Camp staff requests the purchase of a battery powered engraver for the Summer Camp Box

*     Our Summer Camp box is TERRIFIC!!!  It has all we need for summer camp.  Last year Eric Elias donated a great tool kit, Barry Burgess donated hangers, white and cork boards and other items.  Bruce Newborn donated plastic name sleeves for the tents.  Others donated other things it was a group effort and is a great asset for the troop!!

Advancement Subcommittee Report: (Peggy for Lisa Solomon)

*     Lots of Blue Cards from summer camp

*     Lisa will pick up awards and patches and update the database

*     Lisa still missing information in the database for Chas, will pursue

*     Still need neckerchiefs – schedule Stitch and Bitch for August 9th

*     Lisa and Rayna will coordinate, Peggy will bring snacks

*     Big Court of Honor September 11-12 (Do we have a location?)  Sage – Parent Committee session

Troop Advisors (Sandra Sigman)

*     Carnival of Training in September

Action Steps Review:

*     Rayna to get minutes out this week.

*     Move parent committee meeting to August 23 – Invite all parents – vote on calendar (Barry to cover for Patrick in Scout meeting)

*     Email new merit badge policy – need to fill out new form

*     Barry to get Sandra a list of CPR trained from last training at our house

*     Rayna put popcorn dates on calendar

*     Rayna  to put dutch oven recipes on web
