Roundtable Report: (Peggy McGrew)

*     Cub Scout Roundup

*     Carnival of Training Sept 6

*     Popcorn meeting, Kris Williams got Troop 22 Popcorn

*     Scouting for Food needs volunteer at the District Level

*     WLACC Jamboree

Finance Subcommittee Report: (Judy Soyster)

*     Written financial statement was turned in by Judy and reviewed

*     Fundraiser possibilities for next year

*     Need volunteers to run any fundraiser we propose – current staff is maxed out

*     Popcorn – New boothing policy for next year: all Scouts who booth split all money earned by all boothing

*     Suggested we look into Doing a water or hot dog sale at the Van Nuys Air Show

*     Suggested we could do a dinner party event w/Pot luck food, music etc. for adults only

Membership/Communications Subcommittee Report: (Rayna Burgess)

*     Calendar was approved

*     Why do we meet on holidays?  Because we meet on Mondays and many Mondays are holidays.  We need several meetings in order to plan sufficiently for each outing.  We have monthly outings.  We need the meeting time for planning so we meet on holidays.

*     Monday meetings were brought up – most present were in favor of moving the meetings to another night if this becomes possible when we move to the new building at Prince of Peace. 

*     Peggy contacted Prince of Peace to ask about putting a service project for the church on our calendar.  She is waiting for feedback.  This has been a nice tradition for our troop to give back to our Chartered Organization.

Outdoor/Activities Subcommittee Report: (Jerry Seymour)

*     Sage Ranch is reserved for the Court of Honor

*     Jerry will start getting the reservations we need for the new items on our new calendar

Advancement Subcommittee Report: (Lisa Solomon)

*     Court of Honor

*     Sage Ranch

*     Is there a spider problem at Sage Ranch?

*     Late afternoon start 4ish, browse tables, pickup roster & calendar, bbq dinner, campfire court of honor

*     Caterer is scheduled, cost per person between $9-$12, pot luck dessert

*     Year end movie, DVD, CD, Janna will coordinate tech stuff

*     Handouts: Full Roster, Roster by patrol, Calendar, Program, National Jamboree

*     Talk about special awards: Emerald Patrol, BSA Lifeguard, Naturalist, Rugged E, Anchorman

*     Subcommittee Chairs will staff their tables.  Science theme stamps or something.

*     Liquid nitrogen ice cream, sample spoons

*     Carnival of Training flyers were made and should be put into family file folders at Monday’s meeting
