PLC accomplished a lot this month
PLC reviewed Troop rules
Finance/Fundraiser Subcommittee Report: (Peggy for Judy Soyster)
Quickbooks are working well, invoices, summary
statements etc.
CPR course finally balanced, spreadsheet and
accounting was helpful
Need fees for adults at Camporee
Finances still not concluded for the
Pizza/Cookie Dough fundraiser
Budget ready for another review
Funds are low this year, we need to raise a
bunch at pancake breakfast and garage sale
We are concerned about the upcoming boat trip,
we must fill the boat, the Troop can not cover for this
Pancake breakfast: we need to start with the
organization
Garage Sale and Pancake Breakfast both need a
parent coordinator
We should consider doing one much bigger
fundraiser per year
Jerry will look into what our options are for
this type of fundraiser such as an auction.
Late summer/Early fall tennis tournament or
clinic with dinner fundraiser to earn money

We will use our new Quickbooks system to invoice
for these costs

Discussed changing the meeting place to
Gelsons’s in Calabasas or Starbucks on Fallbrook, decided to try it next week
Discussed keeping uniform recycle information on
the website for people to look
