Roundtable Report: (Peggy McGrew)

*     Talked about popcorn

*     Talked about Friends of Scouting Breakfast of Champions, Thurs, November 13th, 6:45

*     Troop 22 to host a table. 

*     We need 4 other people to attend

*     Dan Clark

*     Peggy has a flyer she will pass around on Monday

*     Camporee last weekend in April, they need people to staff,

*     Updating the Las Colinas District Merit Badge Counselor list

*     Action shooting: Single Action Shooter in October, exhibition and camp, speaker, in Lopez canyon can arrange clinics for Scouts

*     Start thinking about Las Colinas District awards

*     Scouting for Food – looking for volunteer in February to lead this for the district

*     Roundtable and district news emailed out monthly a week before roundtable – can add names!

Scoutmaster Report: (Patrick Druez)

*     Council News: Jamboree officially cancelled.

*     Alternative – Districts may put on Merit Badge Midway

*     Had a great time at Big Buck.

*     5000 feet climb up to 6000, oak and pine trees, great view!!

*     Campsite is shaded, clean

*     Easy hike, great for first backpack trip

*     No water, carried it in

*     Kids did well,  22 kids

*     Date conflict with PSAT

*     Troop needs four more backpacking stoves.

*     Committee moved to purchase the four stoves.  There is no rush on this.  Next backpack not until Dec.

Finance Subcommittee Report: (Judy Soyster)

*     Reviewed bank statement, checks, and profit and loss reports from Quickbooks file

*     Reviewed Sea Base trip.  Need to charge each participant for additional spending due mostly to transportation costs in Florida.

*     Remind everyone Popcorn Orders are due Monday

Membership/Communications Subcommittee Report: (Rayna Burgess)

*     Peggy will get database printout of all Scouts eligible for Philmont

*     Joe Perret working on getting the Troop database up on the website.

*     Patrick has a demo CD on Troopmaster for ASMs etc. to use to learn the system.

*     We need a Recruiter and to make sure that jobs are filled.  Rayna not able to keep all prior jobs.  Would like someone else to take lead for this subcommittee.

Outdoor/Activities Subcommittee Report: (Peggy for Jerry Seymour)

*     How can we get a better count on who is going to outing.

*     2 months prior, ASM – Outing leader gets packet from committee, Jr. Registrars?  Patrol Advisors will work with PLs to get final count prior to Monday meeting prior to weekend outing.  Phone calls, email prior to Monday meeting.

*     Snow camp reservations not being taken until November, all other outings reservations have been secured.

*     Camp Josepho hike in and out – November Outing

*     December Outing – Piedra Blanca

Advancement Subcommittee Report: (Lisa Solomon)

*     NTR

Troop Advisors (Joe Perret)

*     We need volunteers for this subcommittee.  We need a volunteer to update the database for our adult leader training and scout training.  To organize troop participation in various training programs.

Action Steps Review:

*     Rayna to get minutes out this week.

*     Rayna to call Diana and ask her to purchase the troop 4 whisper light backpacking stoves
